Database for Digital Capacity

The Database for Digital Capacity Development aggregates information on existing initiatives implemented by a variety of cross-sector actors across international institutions, governments, private sector companies and civil society. Please use the below interface to find relevant trainings to suit your individual digital capacity development needs.

This information aggregated in the database was collected through a UNDP and ITU survey launched in 2020 to capture information on existing digital capacity development and through complementary desk review. Individual entries are curated by Multi-Stakeholder Network members. Any questions, including inquiries to submit new entries or update any existing listings, can be made through the Additional Support contact form below.

Database

Methodology

The data aggregated in the database reflects both submissions collected through a joint UNDP and ITU survey launched in 2020 to capture information on existing digital capacity development initiatives as well as a desk research review. Initial criteria for inclusion in the database aimed to provide consistency and clarity in content as well as relevance and usefulness to users. As such, delivery format of trainings was limited at first to only in-person or online content. This included step-by-step toolkits and materials to run in-person courses but excludes other formats such as reports, guides, conferences, one-off webinars and others. Additionally, only digital capacity development projects that are currently being offered are displayed.

Database entries are point-in-time descriptions and may no longer be accurate. Classifications of the trainings and database fields were adapted from a variety of sources. For more information, contact us below.
